Now Hiring
Pinnacle Classical Academy is now hiring for the 2011-2012 school year. Positions are available for full time kindergarten - 6th grade. Some grades will be combined classes. PCA is also accepting applications for a K4 teacher. This is a part time position, approximately 12 hours a week. Please contact the school for more information.

Spring Recitation Night
Spring Recitation Night will be held Thursday, April 28th at 6:30 p.m. Students will have a variety of short presentations. There will also be opportunities to visit the classrooms. Please make plans to attend.
Four Year Old Preschool Class
Pinnacle Classical Academy is exploring the exciting possibility of offering a class for four year olds (children turning 4 by August 1, 2011) for the 2011-2012 school year. The class will be offered two days each week (likely Tuesday and Thursday) from 8:15-12:30 at the cost of $150 a month. In order for the class to develop, there is a need for six students.
Students will participate in kindergarten preparation with a classical focus. Phonics, writing, literature, and Bible study as well as art, and music will be part of the curriculum.

More details about Spring Seminars and Shadow Days
We are now glad to announce the specific titles of each of our Spring Seminars. Rather than a simple open house, these are your chance to have your children spend some time in a classical classroom and to experience a bit of it for yourself. We are offering classroom shadowing opportunities for children who are rising kindergarteners to sixth grade, and the following seminars are available for the adults as well.

How to Read a Book: Rediscovering the Joy of Reading
Books are as different and unique as the people who write them. Knowing how to approach the different genres of literature can make all the difference between a frustrating experience and a fruitful journey through a book.

The Classical Christian Approach to Teaching the Arts - God as Storyteller
In an age when schools are struggling to cover even basic reading, writing and arithmetic, focus on the creative arts is often neglected. Classical Christian education offers a unique approach to exploring and employing all of the creative talents that God has gifted to man.

Spring Seminars for Families Interested in Classical Education
PCA is pleased to announce two Spring Seminars for families interested in classical Christian education in Little Rock. Rather than a simple open house, this is your chance to have your children spend some time in a classical classroom and to experience a bit of it for yourself.
